Super stocks in pictures

I know many of you lived "in the day", so I thought that I would post a link to a thread that I have been following. It's on another forum where I spend some time. It's not for "ratrods, in fact most of us don't like the term. I know a few of you have (or did have) traditional hotrods, also. It's a link to Super Stocks in the day with many great amateur photographs of 409's. Hell, maybe some of you guys are even in them. Anyway, enjoy, if you haven't seen these pictures before.

Hey Mile, thanks for the posting of all those great photos. So many bubbletops so little time. I really like the photo of the 4 car drags running down the strip. They used to run 4 cars at the same time here in Minnesota at the Minnesota Dragways strip. Talk about noise ! Many a guy would shift their car late or early if they didnt have a tach and the other cars had open headers or cutouts. Talk about pressure.

page 10 has a lot of pics of our men Fred Totten and Dean LaPole with the king camaro. nice site great pics. I've never been that far north. sure have some crazy spelling up there. centre? colour? oh well, different strokes.
