here is some pixs and info on todays project....a rear sway bar for the 1962 Belair....The instructions were not included but I found some scant ones online...the challenge is to get it mounted where it will not interfere with the lower coil spring cradle nor the bolt that secures the parking brake cable....I ended up cutting (4) chunks of 7/16" ID thick wall tubing abou 2 1/2" long each, and welded them to the metal plate brackets so the bolts would not collapse the suspension link arms...any questions just ask now whilst my feeble memory still works....the optimum mounting point seemed to be abou 8 1/2" back from front cradle of link arms...again see pixs....

Looks good...I didn't think about adding those tubes...my mounting location is almost exactly as yours. The bar made a huge difference, especially with air bags.
