Although there are definitely a few pansies out there, I don't think these kids cant be delt with. The problem is everyone is afraid of knocking them on there azz. I have a hard time believing a very large cop cannot handle a 14 year old girl or guy. He just didn't want to lose his job for doing what needed to be done by him or the parents years before.
Well, the op was about a special ed kid. Tough situation to deal with. Glad it's not me. It boils down to the safety of the teachers.
Dave, most of the comment was aimed at the story of the officer from Alaska Gasser. However, your point about the safety of the teachers is also the point. You don't have to beat the snot out of them, however the teacher, or officer should be able to use enough force to resolve the situation without getting fired. Some kid starts wailing on me, I will do what is necessary to stop me getting hurt. Goes back to personal responsibility. Maybe a good whack would get their attention, and save them and society a lifetime of misery. And if they are not mentally challenged, I say we go slap the parents around also.
