Craigslist. Pontiac often gets the credit for kickstarting the muscle car explosion of the ’60s with the introduction of the 1964 GTO. The brand does deserve some credit for the proper muscle car marketing but, as a Pontiac fan, I must admit that the GTO’s recipe of stuffing a larger engine into a midsize or compact body had been done by plenty of manufacturers before.
