On October 17th the racetrack was grounded and resurfaced
from wall to wall where the concrete ends downtrack 1000 ft.
Thanks to: Burton Scot Paving for doing a great job.
We will be open this saturday for the 1/4 mile racing.
Be sure to come and check out the new surface!!

In response to the folks that have been asking how to contribute
to Thompson Raceway Park for its future success, here is how it is done.
Thompson Raceway Park will use all donations for track
improvements, upgrades, and to preserve its historic status.
Our drag strip has been operating in Thompson, Ohio
since 1958 and is currently seeking historic status with the
state of Ohio. All of the legends have raced at our track.
The list includes Don Garlits, Bill Jenkins, Dyno Don Nickolson,
Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen - the list goes on and on.
Our full schedule includes the east coast's biggest Gasser Reunion
every spring along with the biggest gathering of 409's east of the
Mississippi. We also support Rainbow Babies
Hospital with a big charity event yearly.
