transmission used in vette

any one know what automatic was used in the 95 vette?
only thing I have found ( and not sure about this ) was the 4L60 being used?
I didn't know they put them in the 95s?? don't know why, but thinking the 700R4 was used
can any one shed some light on this
looking at putting in another auto. in my pro touring nova, and wanting to match what was used with my motor 95 vette LT-1

94 and later......4l60e. was used.Stay away from the 94 units as they were rather problematic.New transmission,production and electronic bugs.

If I remember correctly I think something with the electronics in the 95 units kinda made them a 1 year only kinda deal so make sure you research that before you get a replacement.

83 to 87 was the WEAK 700r4 88 to 93 was the upgraded Better 700r4 and also refered to as a 4L60 they improved different innerds every year before they came with the new and improved Electronic 4L60E, 93 Was the transition year to the 4L60 E
