Tri power road draft tube

348 tri power intake. My intake still has a metal, maybe freeze plug, in the place the road draft tube should go. I want to install the PCV conversion on it and I am concerned about oil being sucked into the PCV system. I know that some, I think later engines had a baffle canister in the lifter valley to stop the the oil, mine does not. Any help and suggestions would be welcome, also leads to where to get the conversion kit.

Thank you.

No cannister in the w engine. The metal shield on the bottom of the intake is the air oil separator.

Make sure that the little sheet metal baffle is on the bottom of the intake manifold ,and in decent shape. If so,knock out the freeze plug, and replace it with the Show Cars conversion kit.If its not there,Show Cars sells new parts for this problem.

I bought the draft tube from autocityclassic for my 58 delivery. It did drip out too much oil, I think a PCV is much better.
