63 Impala was the trunk mat a vinyl or ?? Allso was the spare tire covered

The originals were some type of foam material I believe. The repro's are vinyl and are hated because they cause moisture to build up under them.

No spare cover. Would be 3 pieces, left, center and right side.

original mats where a fiber /cloth type mat.
All reproductions are vinyl.
For all 61 to 64 Hardtops, 2drs, 4 doors only 3 mats no mat's on the spare tire shelf .
All convertible's 61 to 64 had 4 mats and a mat under the spare tire on a passenger side shelf by the passenger 1/4 panel
The 4th mat on convertibles was on the shelf under the top rack area.

Bob is right on moisture collecting under the vinyl mats.
