U joint phasing

After reading and finaly figuring out the 90 degree thing I relooked at mine and it's correct. Then I remembered why. Mine had a groove cut and will not go together any other way. Maybe some did some don't

I would still recomend having the whole assembly spun balanced.

Mile Hi has it right..I had the same questions with my '61. It's explained in the '61 Shop Manuel, so if you're staying with a 2 piece, take heed, 'cause it'll vibrate like heck and ruin your center yoke if it's wrong.
