Steel beating on them. But getting real close on the easy one.
The big problem I realized' is that I had plans for just a roll bar. Then I find out that a roll bar is only good to 11.00. I'm only .34 seconded from that number, so not sure that is a good plan. Guess Tom and I need to have another powwow.

I think you need more than just a hoop under 11:50. If not my thoughts were why not go with a better set up for more protection? I went with Art Morrison 8 point roll bar 1.75" dia kit for $280 and $180 shipping. You have the skills and ambition to do the install. I had the skills but not the ambition for a project like this anymore. Thanks Russ for conveying your safety concerns. If things go bad a person will be happy to have the protection if you hit the wall or loose control at most any speed. We all know how squirrelly these slicks get if you're not going straight. The brake pin falling out of Ray's car gets a person thinking......
