Vacuum advance

Hi gents:
I bought a adjustable vacuum advance for my electronic ignition project. It will supply 0 to 22 degrees advance. What say you? If I didn’t have you all as a resource I guess I would put it at 16 degrees need your advice. Ty

Add the initial, mechanical and vacuum, for a stock engine don't have a total of over 48/50 degrees. For performance engines use a sliding scale back to 42 degrees at light throttle cruise. Drag only or anything over 11.5 comp, no vacuum advance and no more than 40 degrees advance. That's just me.
