I’ll get some more details and talk with him today. I think he spoke with you at the rock n race he had a 62 Biscayne at the track with a ls in it ( he could t find a 09 when he was building it)

Talked with my buddy he’s got a bunch of articles from dragway 42 from the day he’s gonna get me copies of . Said Koogle the one that beat Eddie Schartman in this one was the dominating racer in the area but died of cancer in 64 he thinks in his mid 20s

That was the same summer (1963) my Dad bought a one year old 1962 Impala convertible off a guy down the street in Parma, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland, where Jackshaw Chevrolet and Jackshaw Pontiac were)!!!

A few months later my Uncle Dick (Dad's kid brother by 9 years) came home from the Navy and picked up the new for that year Stingray :).

Coincidence? I was 12 at the time, but I had a dream to someday own one of each...
