Making progress on my 59 Impala. Did not realize it had been in a hail storm until began block sanding, 68 tiny dings in the trunk top. Painted some small pieces. Hope to set the body on the frame in around 3 weeks.

WE are going to put the front clip, hood, doors and trunk and aline everything, after that is is all mine to do.

See you this Sat, Roger-looking for around 200 cars this year-ordered 250 T-shirts and enought food for 250., Ran out of everything last year. Looks to be about 75 -78 deg. and sunny Sat. God I love Texas!!bang

Making progress, painting complete, buffing, scheduled to put the body on the frame next Monday. Have pictures but too large and don't know how to make them smaller.

Jeez Wayne, Get some 12 year old over there to resize those pics..... Sounds like you and I are running neck and neck. My body goes on this weekend.

Got the 59 on the frame yesterday, taking all the stainless trim to be done tomorrow. I can polish the trim and make it shine like a diamond in a goats butt, just donot have the expertise to get all the little dents out. Still can't figure out how to make the pictures smaller, when I do I'll have a bunch to load.

This was the only two pictures I had left on my computer of the day we set the body on the frame. Will have some good shots tomorrow. Got the trunk on and working on the doors.
Picked up Roger's bumpers to day for the 57 he has beem working on (looks great) and droped my 59 bumpers off. The price of cooper has crome going thru the roof, $900.00 for front and rear for my 59. May have to sale the El Camino to finish the 59 Impala project?????????????

Wayne, I hear you on the chrome.... I am going to run my originals for now as they are going to be at leats 800.00 the have done and they are nice with no repairs... Will pull them off this winter and have them done then.
