Funny how a paint job project turns into a frame off build project. ......This is all Phil Reeds fault!!!!
I was just going to drop the axel assembly, clean it and paint it, but I once again got a little carried away. The blue car for the Z came with the rear end pictured, which I believe to be a 4:11. Internally, each major part has a splash of white paint. The housing has some interesting alpha numeric stampings that I think were applied at the factory.
The last shot is another assembly that I was considering to have rebuilt (3:55) but haven't made any decision,
but would be the correct build date for the car. The 4:11 is in perfect shape.
Question is what do I have here and is it original???
