About 10 days ago i was teaching my 9 year old daughter Breanna how to put her 1967 BSA 250 together. We were assembling and mounting the rear fender on that particular day. I explained to her what torque was and how it is measured and why it is so important. I broke out her BSA shop manual and showed her where torque specs are then we went to the garage to get my torque wrenches. She torqued her fender bolts to 12in pounds just fine. She enjoyed learning about torque.
