The buy it now price ( $ 3,200. ) pretty much confirms it's a Z-11 intake. Not much good, unless you have the bottom, and the heads. I like the beginning bid.

Very nice piece. It is a slight shame though that it had probably been polished somewhere in it's life and someone ground off the Firing Order and Part #. More than likely I would say that this is an over-the-counter service replacement because of the reinforced outer corner bolt holes (ears) that were very fragile and quite easy to break off. Although it's a disappointment that's it's missing it's separate valley cover, it's nice to see that the plenum under the carbs hasn't been butchered like so many others. The Z-11 Intake Manifold is in my opinion, the most beautiful manifold that Chevrolet ever produced.

the z11 and 409 intakes were designed by Fred Frenke and are beautiful. I think i know who has the z11 molds from winters but I will pass on it. The z11 manifold on ebay for 6500 looks like the real deal, the one for 3200 looks like there has been some work on the front bowel area or welded. i am not sure if its a copy or not or just wire brushed beyond belief
