Decided to go with dog dish on 62 series wheel vintiques. Any opinions on wheel size - 14 or 15 x 7 or 8. and tire brand - black walls. Thanks, Larry

More tire choices with 15's- 14's are getting much harder to find. 7 or 8 inch- depends on what size tire you plan to run. 7's on the front eliminate risk of rub problems.

I agree with Don, 15" is the way to go. They were an option in 62, (and other years?) and would be period correct looking. I have a set of 62 series and dog dish caps that I run on my 62 from time to time.
15 x 7, 215/70 front and 15 x 8, 255/60 rears. I had them powder coated to match the car. I think I spent around 1400 for everything...

I run 15x7 and 15x8, 225/75 15's all round.

I had mine made up using original centres, then powder coated white, just watch the front backspace, too much positive will touch the tie rod end on the front.

205 / 75 /14 are the largest tire available without going to Coker or other supplier. They are just too small. 225 / 75 /14 seem too fit nicely. Personally I switched to 15 inch rims so I can buy tires anywhere. Much better for long trips.

I'm running 225 / 75 /15 on all four, 15 x 7 , a little larger than factory, but fills the holes.

I have the last pair of diamondback tires 225x75/14 (rear) and can find NO more. Running 205x75/14 (front) My next set will go to 15's also easier if you are going to run disc brakes. VERY NICE 62. Dean
