Wheel size for a 60 biscayne

Hi , i like to change my 14inch wheels for size 15 on my 1960 biscayne, does anyone know , the good set up for the back and front wheel, i like to put wide wheel , and not sure how big i can go in the back and in the front , thanks.

60biscayne,,,,, I just went though that change. Use 15x7 or 15x8 rear with 4 in. backspace and 15x6 front with 3 1/2 backspace.

Those tubs, front and rear are huge. Depends what look you're looking for. I recently put some 18X8-4"BS on my '61 and there was inches to spare. Front and back. The '60 should be very similiar in tub size. My gues would be with the right BS you could get 9's maybe even 10's on the rear, heck maybe even larger!

On My 61' I put 9.5" X 18 with 5" BS on the back and 8" X 18" with 5.5" BS on the front

I have a 1960 Impala with 235/65/15s up front and 255/60/15s in the rear. I run the American racing Smoothies with the reverse smoothie in the rear. Don't know the backsets but I can get them if needed.
