I really don't want to build a 200R4 crossmember, would rather buy one for my kids 63 409 car. Any of you guys know who sells one for a reasonable price?

Check with 58 Delivery or Show Cars or from someone who is going from a th400 to a 4 speed.

A TH 400 short shaft has roughly the same mounting distance.

If you are making any HP or TQ it will need some "good" stuff on the inside.

Bowtie overdrives. If it's for a 63 car. Tubular and reasonable prices. Got it for my tremec or what is the 700R4 cross member. 58-64 is $209.

All the 700R4's have the "correct" mount location but some do have a tail shaft housing with an additional mount position. Never checked if this is the same as the 200R4 but it very well could be.
200R4 and the Th400 are not the same, close but off by a little. The aftermarket mounts, such as mine have enough plus or minus in the hole location that it will work with either of the two transmissions.

Found it. Hey 58, meet my MD8. You'll notice that the 'correct' mount location is not there. And the extension housing mount is. I used the 200-4R transmission mount in the Red car. Maybe one day I will dig out the BRF, so I can put them next to each other and snap a pic. Maybe you know what car had this transmission setup.

Here's the new transmission mount for that transmission. Much better than the old one. It's listed as a TH 400 and 200-4R. It's got wiggle room. Fits Red car and blue caprice.

But it illustrates that the 200-4R and the TH400 are very close. And I noticed that you didn't say what car the transmission is from. Educate us. You brought up all 700-R4's.

I already said that the 200R4 AND THE th400 are not the exact but close, maybe 1/2" to 1" so the same mount will work with elongated holes.
As far as your picture, I have no idea, it's your trans you tell us. Fortunately I have not encountered someone with a trans like that

Based on your trans pan that is a 700R4. I have never seen or heard of one like that. In fact, check every well known source for trans dimensions and no one lists that length as a 700R4 mounting. That should be just over 27" from bellhousing edge to trans mount which is the 200R4 dimension. 700R4 is 22". So you have one that doesn't fit the "norm". I have seen many that have both mounts but not like yours.
That must be very rare since the hundreds that I have sold no one has ever had that trans.
