Welcome to the 2 door post Club :) :) :).

Think the wifey might let you open the wallet once again? Last time I brought one home I believe I failed to mention the fact, and now after the better part of a year mine hasn't noticed yet. Let's hope that continues...

Congrats! TomK

Just like with guns and bows. Wives cannot count very well, so the more you have, they are less able to keep track of what you actually have.

Winter project arrived tonite. A normally quiet small town road was a freeway tonight. Car was in the center of the trailer and required a master rigger and several pulley relocations to pull the car out. A couple of my buddies showed up in their wreckers, turned their emergency flashers on and directed traffic during the off load. When it rolled off the hauler, one of the wreckers hooked the rear wheels and hauled it into their locked yard for the night. trailer home tomorrow. Really great to have good friends!!!

Only one shot as it was traffic hell on the road

Car arrived and finally had time to look it over. Love / hate sorta deal. Car is really nice overall....but underneath....eh not so much. Looks to have been worked on a long time ago to repair rust in the pans and braces. Trunk is a definite replace....some braces as well.....and the undercoating is like cracked concrete. Hard as a rock. Was thinking about selling the damn thing, since I am not set up with the equipment or the know how to do it right. A little more inspection before a final decision. A guy with the right equipment in his shop could probably knock this out without any big problems......Me.............I'll have to belly up the $$.....:bore4

Came with reared and 31 spline axels.....was a 6 cylinder and powerglide. Now has clutch pedal. Impala aluminum on dash....non original interior.

So.. a few pics

This previous restorer was a MASTER Homecrafter. Sand blaster will tell how much this baby needs other than floors, braces, trunk, on & on. So glad it was rust free!!... Windows work really well:woohoo........Trying to psych myself up. :guitar
