Won an IHRA Ironman!

We had a big money bracket race at Mo-Kan Dragway over the weekend and I was able to take the '62 Bel Air "409" to the winners circle! The win was extra sweet because it was also for the Ironman trophy. I was originally going to race the '61 but found out it somehow lost the brakes sitting in the trailer. I re-loaded, sped the 10 miles back home, unloaded the broken car, loaded the '62 and made it back in time for the first time run. Good thing it wasn't 95 degrees that day or I would have said "screw it"!

Way to go Travis (and Floyd) !!!

It sure is great to be just 10 miles from the track! I always like to remind everyone that your base block is a 348, correct? That's inspiration for us little guys on a budget!

I think the BA409 car will be headed to MO-Kan one more time this year, but I probably won't be accompanying James :(.
