Where in the world did you come up with that stuff? That is priceless. And, sound. I have a hour of old races on VHS, but no sound.
More, More, More, More. Please, More

Fred

Hey Mark. I bet they're cool !
Any way of putting them in standard mpeg format ?

Fred's having a fit here:p ... I gotta know what this is about:confused: :cheers

more

check my first post

I am uploading a few more today

you need to download the realaudio player from real.com

the other formats are too big for my site

these are just teasers, buy the videos from Jim, they are great to watch.

I have no financial connection with him, but just letting you guys know what he has.

BTW the poor quality of sound is on my end when i convert the vhs tape. Jims tapes sound ok.

Well... we won't try THAT again:eek:  !

That file for the "real player" is twice as big as my entire computer:eek:

Guess I'll just listen to the oooo's and aaaaaah's !

Z-11 Tapes

Aubrey, I could call you on the phone and let you LISTEN to the tapes. ;) ;) ;) Just to tease you a little, He wipes out a Thunderbolt, Bud Faubels old Honker car, and a few others. That was one mean machine.

Fred

AHAH !
My daughter just got a new super duper computer a few days ago. NOW I can watch the videos:cheers .

Tragic about the narrating... but MAN... every once in a while you can hear those guys taking gears at more RPM than most people here would dare  :cheers :cheers

Great stuff :cheers .... makes me a bit jealous though;)

Videos

Hey Mark
Thanx for the great videos.
I remember this stuff from that era and these videos sure brought back a lot of memories......they were some exciting times and not a Honda in sight.........

Aubrey, the file for RealPlayer should only take up about 31mb. Surely your computer has more disk space than that. Maybe you should go to the RealPlayer site and download it. Just a thought.

Mpris... THAT is EXACTLY what I did !
31 MB ?
That's INSANE !
No, no my computer is not much bigger than 31 MB:rolleyes:

Half way through the download ( after nearly 10 minutes of downloading on a VERY FAST connection ), it had my computer seized up solid:cuss

Hope my car has more power than this;)

Wow.... what a statement! thanks BJ for the wake up call.

I guess the world changed a bit after the sixties.

The boys in Detroit took a little nap in the 70's and the factory hot rod was never the same.

I didn't think much of it when I first read Aubrey's post but now that I think of it, 31MBs is damn big for that! I just checked the very old version of Real Player I have on this old computer and the whole file is only 5.03 MBs. (thats everything, the read me, samples, notes, a few .gifs, executable file and other assorted small files)

BTW, this version is: 6.0.7.380 It always says it's outdated when I use it but it works so I never upgraded.

I also found an even older version in my system that is just 1.35MBs in size. That one is dated from 97/98. It doesn't work anymore though...says a .dll file is missing or ??? Time to get rid of that one I guess. :D

file size and video

I converted one video to avi file and compressed with microsoft indeo and the file still was over 70 mb. so I chose to use the real audio stuff since it kept the files pretty small however the sound and frame numbered suffered but you know everything is a trade off.

By the way these films are from titles

S/S AND F/X ERA
SUNDAY AT POCONO 63-66
YORK US 30 DRAGWAY
