Since I couldn't find a reasponably priced 409 fan shroud, I am cutting a small block shroud to fit. I've been told that the fan should not be completely inside the shroud, but it should be about 1/2 inch outside on engine side. Can anyone confirm,or let me know the overall width to cut it to...
