I worked four hours today, installing (2) headlight/ grille eyebrows on my 64. How hard could it be?:dunno There's only two studs on each mldg.:clap Let me tell ya. Talk about aggravation. After getting the top adjusted, so it matches the hoodlip moulding, I end up with a crappy looking gap, that I can't get rid of. After all the adjusting, and removing and reinstalling, I end up with a job that looks like my 4 year old grandson did it.:bang Why is everything made in korea or china?:dunno Skip :cry

Repop stuff...

Skip, that's why I try to stay away from repop trim stuff, the original fits so much better. But you can spend a lot of time tapping out dings, sanding scratches, and polishing a 40 year old plus piece of trim. If it was once anodized, you then face the reality of protecting that shiny surface for another 40 years :).

I tried to fit some repop rear aluminum cove moldings, gave up and refinished the originals.

Good luck!
