Need One 348 Piston

Rebuilding A 348 Chevy Engine With 11.25:1 Pistons Standard Bore. One Cracked--other Seven Fine. Have Tried Many Places But They Want To Sell A Full Set. Does Anyone Know Of A Source For One Piston (new Or Used). Have Been In Touch With Ross, Paw, Kanter, Egge, Etc, -- Even Been In Touch With Some Salvage Yards But No One Answered The Request. Appreciate Any Help Any One Could Provide.

One piston

You might try to call Phil Reed in Kansas City at (816)587-6809. Brad will likely b ethe guy answering the phone.

Not sure about his 348 stuff, but he has lots of components for 409s, and seems to be able to get lots of things for these engines.

Make sure you tell him which one you need, assuming there are different pistons for different holes, like the high perf 409 stuff.

I have some standard 348 pistons (used) but never paid much attention to what compression they were. Do you have any numbers that are inside them and I'll check?
