Maddog racing, a dealer on ebay was going to tool up for new 348 rods. I told him I didnt see the point in it as you could us BBC rods at a reasonable cost. Maybe I am wrong about this. He is in the process of doing 425 Buick rods and could maybe be talked into 409 rods if the demand was there. He says set of eight forged with high strength fasteners (500 HP) would be about $250. I dont know if there is a market for his initial run of 60 sets. Anybody feel like convincing him to make them (348 or 409), should contact him. You can contact him on ebay sellers.
