throttle linkage

Hey guys,

i finally got my 409 and 4-speed in my car this weekend. appears that my throttle linkage is too short. for now im running a holley 850 on a stock 4BBl intake with a 1 inch spacer. Is there a difference in the linkage from a 4bbl SBC, to a 409?

I swapped a 409 into a 327 car and the linkage rod was too short, too. The original rod on my 340hp 409 is much longer than a SB rod. I would call Phil Reed up and get a 409 rod.
