Doing some cleaning and detective work.
I've learned they have raccoons in Louisiana
Trim tag indicates the car was white with red
The package tray IMG_1625.JPGbraces were removed for weight savings
The body mount in the rear of the wheel house was removed for tire clearance
Floor pan is surprisingly good...the passenger front will need a bit of work

Some very interesting info in the book "Dyno Don" by Doug Boyce Russ. If that is Don's aly front end off his 62 Bubbletop, it was probably originally off his yellow 62 B/FX Impala. The aluminium front end Impala with Z-11 heads and intake was one of twenty made by Chevrolet in July 1962.:clap

In conversations with friends and family the car was evidently born as a dual fours and changed to 380 hp to race. The car still has the correct radiator...fire wall resistor is still in place...and the tach screw holes are in the column
