Yeah I will have to check out the and adjust the end carbs. Any Ideas on the bouncing vacuum? Could it be just the cam being kinda big an lopey?

    Carb Tuning

    Carb Tuning

Dido, I was thinking that would be my next move. Any suggestions on timing? And should my stock points distributor be adding more than just 2 degrees of vacuum advance? Or is that low because I dont have a whole lot of vacuum to give it more?

    Carb Tuning

Yes they are original carbs, the ends are just dumpers. As for the engine specs go the only thing I know about it is it was a fresh rebuild and its a hydraulic cam. The previous owner didnt have any paper work to pass on. I really would like to know what the cam specs are that would be helpful.

    Carb Tuning

I need some advice. I have a 348 with tri-power, Its a fresh rebuild and Im needing to know where to set the idle screws on the center carb as a base line. Im at about 1500 feet above sea level. Is there a good rule of thumb to get me started? Thanks for the help!
