Now are you saying the powerglide is an automatic transmission? I am new to these cars and haven't learned the proper vernacular yet. I have a manual three speed in my impala. Is that a heavy combo? I was going to pull both at same time or maybe need to rethink that now.....

Read that article above just now and sounds like I am going down the same road. My 65 Impala vert which looks to be all original and clocking 77K miles, has a 6 and three on the tree, as well as bench seat and power nothing. Top is powered though, can't imagine lugging that thing up and down...

Getting ready to take the 6 out of the 1965 impala convertible and refresh it, return it to the car. Need pics of old survivor stuff for proper decals and such for a stock restoration of the engine compartment. Or are there other resourses out there/ Thanks!

I guess I am referencing my 1970 Blazer restore. I had to replace the body trim, found 2 sets of truck NOS trim but there were some blazer specific pieces that I did not find so ordered from aftermarket guys and it was incredible the look and quality was about the same. I would not have guessed...
