    Hog Block

As a kid growing up in 60's I remember some older guy's refer to a 348 as a "Hog Block". It may have been a local thing, I don't know? Anyway I got to ride in one with duals. Road side stand while on family vacation one year, my guess 61 or 62?

    1963 327 factory tach?

I am trying to remember the background requirements for standard factory tach. As in a 1963 Impala SS with V8, seems if it was over 300hp and manual transmission it came standard? If lower hp or automatic it was a option.

Thanks for the heads up on site page. I was messaging back and forth with someone at GM for 1/2 hour trying to explain what was missing from web address. They had no clue. I knew if I came here someone would know what was going on. Thanks Oldskydog for the info.

Lunati small block small base circle cam

I am trying to remember, I bought a tool to gauge push rod length and it was something longer than they had a listing for? Also just looking at how far the lifter drops into lifter bore scares me. To much of the lifter is below the bore and oil hole is way off.
