Some progress here. Block is bored and decked. Crank grinded. Got the heads back from the head specialist. Everything is cleaned and painted. So the best part of the build is going on now. Today bolting the heads... Prime... Intake... Don, thanks for all the w-engine info what I have got from you.

Christmas... Parts are here. Those Icon pistons are looking so nice. Time to start cleaning up all the nuts and bolts while waiting for to get the block and crank back from the machine shop....

Great. Thanks for the good advices. Machine shop guy called today and said that the crank should be grinded 010 under. So no I have all the info for the shopping list...

Thanks for the replies, The block, heads and intake are 59 cast. And the suffix code match the car. I did drill the holes for the PS pump when I swaped the generator out. The 0948 cam looks like good choice. I did think I should get milder cam for low rpm torque but show cars cam chart says...
