The headers are Stahl. The back tube gives it away. Anyone that has had them can tell as soon as it fires.

Anyone here got a preference for rods with a 4.25" crank(not length, Ross says 6.385 is max with ring spacers), just brand. Mostly thinking about the big end & block.

At the risk of beating a dead horse. Welding & stiching both work. I have welded 3-4 blocks with the Nickel rod & a buzz box. Grind a V, run about a 1/2" bead, peen thoroughly & weld another. No leaks & if you have some, you can reweld. The peening is the important part. These were all outside...
