    Thanks for the advice. Was thinking the same. Anyway, the casting number is: 876470. I'll look it up as well. The seller thinks out of 1958 truck.

    I'll ask him and see if he replies. Bought a 1980 C35 Dually with a 409. No plans yet but may pull those heads to check condition and refurb. thanks

    Will these 348 heads fit on a 409? Facebook add claims they will. Cost was reduced $300 to $250. No plans as of now to buy just checking for research. (I just posted this and it didn't show, is there a delay?)

    I live in Louisiana. Purchased a 1980 GMC single cab, long bed dually from a salvage yard with a 409. Didn't know much about the engine at that time but very quickly obvious the motor was put in from an older Chevy model. Also a Turbo 400 transmission tagged 1977. Trying to learn more about...
