I was at a car show in Lawrence Mich. A guy pulled up in a ground pounding 58 2dr sedan. Said he bought it the way you see it. he does n't race it any more just displayes it. Had a big block with Hilborns.
Hey Don! It looks good and runs great. I've been very happy with your engine combo. I bought a 69 Chevy short bed and have been occupied by it. I simply drive Bel and keep her clean. I've been focused on coming up with a way to mount gates and a tach below the speedo with out looking tacky...
I was reading my classic truck mag and loved this article when they started talking about 348 w blocks

I'm interested in the setup as well. I have a wobble at 50mph. I tried all winter to get angles that work. I have new telescoping "balanced" driveshaft, 700r4, stock pinion angle, polyurethane bearing.
I had the opportunity to attend the Afdent car show at the South Bend Century Center. There was a 62 complete with role cage, fuel cell, and Lamar Walden Wblock. I suspect someone on this sight has seen it on a track.
It wasn't open and I did not look that closely. I'll need to see if my buddy got a better picture with his camera than i did with my camera phone.
ya! a 58 V6 LOL!

I think this is interesting. The own of the car claims it is classified as delivery sedan by Chevrolet. The article clarifies that.
The point of the post is that this is a unique vehicle with a build that is not typical. I would agree that it is a 2 door wagon. Chevy labeled it a sedan...
I went to the 2016 MUSCLE CAR AND CORVETTE NATIONALS yesterday and saw a couple rare cars. one was a 58 sedan delivery with windows. It was one of 300 ordered by the federal goverment for the national park rangers. This one was in Yellowstone
I agree with you. Good to see the w block exposure, bad bits of information here n there. I know for a fact the 409 crank fits in a 348 block just fine. The oil needs some love from a sledge and your in!
