repo 3x2 breather I saw a ad somewhear on the internet that they are making reproduction 3x2 breathers for 60-61 348

what will it make the original worth ? I have not seen a repo how can i tell it from the one that i have had for 20 years?

I am about to get my 348 back from the machine shop as soon as i get a pressure plate to finish the balancing. i am looking at my block and i do not think my ring comp will work in this block (1st W block) what do yall use?:dunno thanks zippy.

sorry what i was meaning does the stock or replacement guides not have a spiral in them? I thaught that if thay had been knerled thay would look like thay had a 3/8 tap run through them. these just have a fine spiral line in them.:dunno Thanks Zippy. ps. skydog L2060

I bought a set of 1147 heads at a swap meet tore them down then sent them to be cleaned and maged they turned out ok but the shop told me the guides had been knerld and need replaced the valves feel good in the guides and the guides do have a spiral in them but i am ? The guides I do not know...

heater I am not a experet on this but 61 had a recirculation heater i have a parts car like this the heater controles are differ and it has a manule shut off valve under the hood hope this helps feel free to ask and i will try to help! zippy.

Tommy real 61 ss u r rite my manifold is a cast 3769937 as much as i can tell this a od ball motor some books say solid cam some hyd my number on the cam show hyd but it had soild lifters :dunno by the way this motor came from a car about 40 miles from u gum springs ring a bell? small world:cheers
