Road trip

Finally get to take a vacation and left at 5 am this morning for carcraft in bowling green Kentucky with a good friend and the throw together s10. So far a little more than half way down there but stopped by and got to meet Bob Walla in person and pick up some heads for a future build and talk a while. Enjoyed talking with him and seeing his projects and a truck full of 409 blocks! He let me take a couple pictures so here they are.

I recon Bob could carry one of the alloy ones on his own (think there is a pic of him hand delivering Jim and Jims one) but i doubt he can carry the cast ones
He must have some friends close by.
Im sure there are plenty on here would lend a hand to carry these eh?

Thanks Tom! I like the stories and memories of the "old guys" on this site and when I get to meet them in person about there racing days and experiences makes me wish I could have grown up back then!

Iowa 409 guy thanks for clarifying the age bracket for "older guys" for me I talked to the young man yesterday and he doesn't have an interest in the super Chevy show says too far to drive for him.
