Not much getting done on the Nomad this week, but I did manage to take off the broken original side mirror and the terribly pitted passenger side mirror in exchange for some really, really nice originals.

Yikes! almost looks like chicken pox

Looks good.

My first car was a '58 Nomad, 348, 3-Speed.

I bought it in 1968 for $50 (Fifty Dollars).

Those days are gone...

I did some freestyle with One Shot on the hatch lock.

Picked up a set of pretty much brand new BFG Silverton 7.50-14 Bias Plys and got a set of 1962 409/Wagon 14x6" Wheels coming that I'm going to base/clear Frost Blue and wrap the gangster whites around.

Also picked up a pair of Schott repop fender cap panels test fit and eventually butt weld them together.

NOS Rochester 2G to replace the beat up original carb, some 1958 Olds Rocket Decals for the valve covers, Air Ride going in soon, stay tuned!

Picked up a set of dog bowls from a friend, I believe were for a Tri-Five? :rub

Spun them on the Baldor and finished them in some One Shot.

Added some more Jazz to the steering wheel

Threw down some lines on the horn ring

Installed the new Kick Panels, looking for a pair of kick panel vents, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

CLR BATH TIME!
Before

The results

I was really doubting any paint on the roof with the amount of surface rust, but once again CLR proves me wrong!

Hatch cap came out blue again
