The only thing that disappointed me was that he put skirts on the car. Back when those cars were new, I doubt that one in 500 had skirts on them. I remember that my dad had a 1960 Black Impala convertible, and it was a very sharp car, with a 348 and a turbo-glide automatic, spinner wheel covers, power windows, seats, and cruise control. My father knew the owner of a dealership, and he got the wife's former car. She got a new car every 6 months, so the "used" once kept their value.
My brother had her 1958 Impala convertible, it was like a cream color, with a gold interior if I remember correctly. It was also a loaded car, and had air ride suspension. The air bags would go bad from ice forming in them in the winter time. They warrantied the bags a few times, and then changed it over to a standard suspension.
