1965-66 sedan door frame trim

I noticed some sedan cars for 1965 & 66 have stainless trim covering the door window frames.

Today I got a set from a 65 4 door.

Were these optional and if so, what were they called?

I believe they were on the Impala and Caprice cars only and not on the Bel-Airs and Biscaynes.

Not sure what GM called them. I would just call them what you have called them or just "Stainless Door Post Trim".

Maybe your right. This was an Impala. I'll have to dig up some photo's on the net.
