I worked on a 69 Caprice when I first wrenched, late 70's. It had the 2 bbl. 396. It was well loaded....A/C, P/S, P/Disc, P/W, P/S, Tilt & Vacuum Power Locks. With all the accessories on it, I always wondered why the 2 bbl. The vacuum locks had to be the rarest of accessories. Never saw another one.
On a side note, I also remember servicing a 66 Impala wagon with a 396 with a PowerGlide. Never understood why it didn't have the TH400.
