I have one damaged brake line, It has a line that is curled like the 2 next to it. The truck has ABS, is there some purpose to the curls or can I make up a new line without the curls?

Thanks for the info, I wondered if they were there to add fluid volume or something.

I have engine, transmission, cab, and box off, front 4wd axle, shocks, sway bar, and UCA and LCA installed. With the torsion bar suspension and the bolts loose on the 4 control arms, it sits quite low. I’ve read I should tighten the control arm bolts first, then install the torsion bars back to their original settings.

On other suspensions I’ve worked on, I’ve needed weight on the suspension before tightening the UCA and LCA bolts, same here or do them and the torsion bars after dropping the engine and cab back in?

Haven’t touched a torsion bar setup before.

Thanks, Don

I saw a mention of the spec for a Z height, I guess you put that in normal language, ride height. Thanks.
