I have engine, transmission, cab, and box off, front 4wd axle, shocks, sway bar, and UCA and LCA installed. With the torsion bar suspension and the bolts loose on the 4 control arms, it sits quite low. I’ve read I should tighten the control arm bolts first, then install the torsion bars back to their original settings.
On other suspensions I’ve worked on, I’ve needed weight on the suspension before tightening the UCA and LCA bolts, same here or do them and the torsion bars after dropping the engine and cab back in?
Haven’t touched a torsion bar setup before.
