I worked on cars a little bit when I was younger because I had too, been awhile since I wrenched on anything. My brother started to restore an Impala until he joined the service. Car was eventually junked. Kept motor a little longer but was eventually sold. I really liked that car and saw a 1962 2-door Biscayne that reminded me of it.
So far I have in new floor pans and trunk, new gas tank not in yet , it needs a lot of work, looks good in pic but rubber around windows is rough, I bought weather stipping to put in some time.
Car has 1972 350ci with powerglide, I a complete 1960 348 the 250HP w/ a 5011 block..& the ..379 heads. I just picked up a partial truck motor 656 block, heads, crank, rods, pistions, sheetmetal, no intake or exhaust
I also have a 1968 327
I am trying to work on body now then get to a 409 clone motor eventually
Thanks for this site, eveyone has been very helpful and informative
