Had a great Saturday at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI with the Nostalgia Super Stock Inc. group. There were 4 409 powered 63 Belairs there! The Homewrecker, Ghost From the Past, Ragamuffin, and Faded Memories. That doesn't happen very often! The first time trial wasn't the greatest as we were using it as a test and tune for some things and went 9.96 at 132. The 2nd and 3rd runs were season best back to back 9.86 and 9.87's. I was paired against a much quicker mopar on the first 2. He drove away on the first run but I tried my best to keep him honest on the second run and it would have been a close 1/8th mile race, but he drove away again.

That's great Dave! I had my best runs of the year too with a 10.32 and a 1.41 60'. Tried jetting up and down but no significant difference. Was gonna mess with timing on Sunday but the rain came. I never made it down by you guys I was so busy making changes. I never sat down once after 10:00 a.m. My input shaft sensor crapped out (thanks china!) and so did my alternator (seized). I only had about 11.8 volts for my last runs which didn't help. I won against that new Ford in the club and Gordy's Dart. Dan Kuenster in that beautiful maroon chevy drove by pretty easily on the last run.
