My '56's 235 cylinder head is in need of a valve job. Won't idle smooth, exhaust doesn't feel consisitent, vacuum fluctuation, loud exhaust @ higher engine load, running rich to keep it running. Anyway, it's time to get this engine running right. Does anyone know or can recommend someone in eastern Pennsylvania who can do a quality complete rebuild of this cylinder head? I'm talking a thorough cleaning, magnafluxing, shaving if necessary, new valve guides, new valves, hardened exhaust valve seats (if those are even recommended anymore for running unleaded gas??). The closer to Allentown, the better. Should have rebuilt the cylinder head when I had the block completely redone back in 1991.
