Ok, so I have a temp issue and I'm trying to resolve, posted about a 283 fan shroud on a 348 a while back and made me start thinking there may be other 283 cooling components installed and I started reading...
In the supplement book for 1960 Impala it talks about cooling system specifications and there are 3 variations of the radiator between the 283 and 348. They all have the same physical size and depth but different capacities (17.5 17.25 and 21 liters). I have a 348 with a turboglide installed, indicating that I should have the 21 liter capacity but I"m not sure if there is a way to tell. I suspect the reservoir is larger but I have nothing to base it on...so is there a measurement to take or a PN to x-ref.
