3 speed 58-64 wanted

Well, this is my first thread, have been visiting this excellent site for the past 3 years as a visitor. I have over the past two years had a tuk, tuk, tuk per rev while driving in first gear, could also hear it in reverse, but not as loud. Could not hear it in 2nd or third.
Shifting down to second? gear at a slow speed, late Sept. I lost all gears.
Drive car 4 months of the year only.
I am seeking a good replacement 3 speed standard synchromesh transmission used in 58-64 230 and 283, 348 engines.? Do the 6 cyl trans. bolt up to 348?
Preferably in western Can. due to shipping.
Looking to swap out this winter.

I've got an original 3 speed from a '59 Chevy. I do not know the condition as I took it right out of the car and installed a 4 speed. I'm located in Central Oregon, so not too far away.
