Body half way on.
Well as of noon today the body is on the Race Car and goes to paint on Wednesday.

Good luck this coming season, do you run in the Late Model Stock car division? I owned one of those for twenty years. Is Mystic Transportion connected with the Mystic Missile modified car? I have a feeling they are since you are in Conn. Back in the seventies we used to run Martinsville in the Spring and Fall and those guys (it was Lennie Bowler and crewback then) used to come down and run the Modified half of the show, we ran the Late Model Sportsman division then. Those were the days... all day at the track then work on the race car in the parking lot of the motel half the night!!!

But I could write a book about the MYSTIC MISSLE and all the great drivers that drove it including the great Shach Worley from Virginia. Our car is an ACT legal Late Model and we are trying to keep up with Jimmy Johnson and go for 4 in a row this year.

Its A Mad Mad Mad World
Well the 2010 Rading season is here with a Bang bang :takethat
We started out Friday Morning with Rain almost Snow but by noon we had a cold dry track and no tire truck. Our team was lucky enough to a set of scuffs from New Hampshire last year race. We had 13 classes of cars hers from Bandilaro to Modified racing Series cars We finally got on the track at 2 for the first time with no rubber on it after have been power washed the day before. all we wanted to do was shake down and check some geometry changes from last years set up. We put down 5 laps 5 tenths faster then anyone else so we were happy. Got to go on track at 4 for the second round and got down to a 15.3 second round of laps and still 4 tenths faster then anyone else. At 5 15 got the third round and a repeat of the second round.
Saturday one practice and had fastest time of the weekend 15.282 still 4 tenths faster then anyone else. We picked a bad draw number so we started at the back of the second heat and came in second and a good starting spot of forth for todays feature race. We wait around freezing today for our turn to race and it is finally here. We get on the track and get some hot laps to some heat in the tires cause it's cold cold and these Goodyears are hard. So evryones running around spaced out just putting heat in the tires. 6 laps and a back marker car panicks spins and takes out 3 of us who needed to pit before the start of the race. We had a flat right front and pretselled panard bar so we jacked the bend out of the bar and headed back to the track in the back and 15 laps got to fifth and running down forth for 10 laps on the white flag lap the second and third pplace cars tangled and kruched our lef frontand ended our weekend.
