The 327 in my convertible has an aftermarket, fully degree'd balancer on it. I would like to remove it and install a stock balancer. Will there be any issues with the balance of the internal rotating assembly?
It's not a huge problem, I just don't like it! It's one of the many unnecessary "race car" parts that are on this engine. I wanted to install a 340hp 327 balancer and timing cover. Trying to make this one look like a 340hp corvette engine.
Or should I just get some orange paint and cover it up as best I can?
Any thoughts would be welcome!
